Annotation description:Figure 2 shows immuno-EM on GIPC1 in rodent hippocampus, which is found both in the pre- and post-synapse. Fig2c shows clear immunoreactivity by light microscopy in wild type which is not present in the Gipc1 null, indicating that the antibody is specific. Fig 2f and g show immunoreactivity in the presynapse by DAB and immunogold methods respectively. Panels e and h show immunoreactivity in the postsynaptic compartment with the same two methods.
