Annotation description: | The taurine transporter is an integral membrane protein (see reference) and localizes in cultured striatal neurons to cell bodies and dendrites (co-localization with MAP2). Antibody: rabbit anti-taurine transporterserum Tau11-A (DPC Biermann, Bad Nauheim, Germany,1 : 500); No KO control. 21/8/2017 Pim - The synapse localization is in part evidenced by the effect of the TAUT KO on synapse physiology.
