Annotation description:Figure 2a: In the synaptic vesicle fraction obtained during the subcellular fractionation of rat brain tissue GlyT1, VGLUT1 and synaptophysin expression can be detected by western blotting.
Figure 2b: in fractions isolated from sucrose gradient sedimentation of the LP2 fraction prepared for figure 2a, GlyT1, VGLUT1 and synaptophysin expression can be detected in overlapping fractions by western blotting.

Figure 4: immunogold-EM of Sucrose gradient purified LP2 fractions number 5-8 demonstrating that GlyT1 can be found at the membrane of vesicles in this fraction (4a). Colocalization of GlyT1 with synaptophysin (4b) or with VGLUT1 (4c) at the same membrane compartment demonstrated by dual immunogold-EM.
