Annotation description: | Fig. 1; IL-1RAcP induces presynaptic differentiation when expressed in HEK293T co-cultured with cortical neurons. Literal: "HEK293T cells were transfected with EGFP and respective IL-1R family proteins tagged with FLAG epitope at the N terminus and were seeded on the top of cultured cortical neurons."we detected robust staining signals for Bassoon on the axons in contact with HEK293T cells expressing FLAG-IL-1RAcP Fig.2 Beads with Fc-fused IL-1RAcP ECD induce presynaptic differentiation in co-cultured neurons Fig. 3d,e,f ; siRNA-mediated knockdown of IL-1RAcP isoforms in cortical neurons reduced the staining signals for presynaptic Bassoon and decreased the number of dendritic spines.
