| Annotation description: | Fbxo45 is enriched in synaptic fractions. Fbxo45 immunoreactivity colocalizes with a presynaptic marker, VGlut1, and a postsynaptic marker, PSD-95 in both pre- and postsynaptic structures of excitatory hippocampal neurons in culture. Analyses using immunoelectron microscopy revealed expression of Fbxo45 (brain region not specified). 25/4/2017 Pim - "Cytosol" was infered from the observation that Fbxo45 does not associate with recognizable intracellular structures and the absence of membrane-targeting domains in the Fbxo45 protein. |
