| Annotation description: | Figure 1: Sos1 was enriched in PSD biochemical fractions prepared from rat forebrain. Figure 5: electron microscopy of Sos1 in Rat hippocampus showed localization to the PSD. "Similar immunoreactive aggregates (arrows in Fig. 5a) and a profile view of densely stained PSD (arrowheads in Fig. 5b and c) on the dendritic shaft and in the spines were observed for Sos immunoreactivity. Cytoskeletons in the dendrites were also immunoreactive for Sos. Presynaptic structures were negative for Sos. The specificity of the staining for both antibodies was confirmed by the lack of staining with non-immune immunoglobulins (not shown)." |
