Annotation description:Figure 1d: KIF2C was expressed in all synaptic biochemical fractions prepared from mouse hippocampus, including synaptosomes, presynaptic fractions and PSD. Strongest enrichment was observed in the latter.

Figure 1e: confocal immunofluorescence imaging of hippocampal neurons double-labeled for KIF2C and either PSD95 (DLG4) or Bassoon (BSN) showed partial co-localization with both marker proteins, suggesting KIF2C is localized to both pre- and post-synapse.
