| Annotation description: | Figure 3: "α-Actinin-4 (ACTN4) immunoreactivity is present in MAP2-positive dendrites and strikingly prominent at excitatory synapses, where it colocalizes with PSD95 apposed to the synaptic vesicle marker SV2 (Fig. 3A), as illustrated by line scan analysis of fluorescence (Fig. 3C), and with mGlu1b (Fig. 3, B and D) or mGlu5 clusters (data not shown). Overall, these findings indicate that Actn4 is enriched at excitatory synapses and colocalizes with group 1 mGluRs." |
