Figure 4: excitatory postsynaptic development is negatively regulated by (long form) DCLK1. Overexpression of GFP-DCLK1 reduced spine density and mushroom-spine numbers. shRNA knockdown of DCLK1 increased spine density, volume and mushroom-spine numbers. |
