Annotation description: | Figure 2c: Cultured hippocampal neurons were immunostained for endogenous SynDIG1, SAP102 (DLG3), vGlut1, GluA2 (GRIA2), vGAT and gephyrin. SynDIG1 partially co-localized with excitatory, but not inhibitory, synaptic marker proteins. Postsynaptic localization for SynDIG1 was apparent in surface-SynDIG1 co-stainings with PSD95 and vGlut1 (Fig. S4b) in dissociated rat hippocampal neurons transfected at 4DIV. Figure S4c: SynDIG1 and PSD95 are co-enriched in various PSD biochemical fractions prepared from mouse P14 brain. Figure 8: Immunostaining for SynDIG1 and MAP2 in dissociated rat hippocampal neurons at 10 DIV showed clear dendritic puncta. Figure 3: SynDIG1 interacts with GluA2 in heterologous cells. Based on the known transmembrane topology of this protein, "integral component of ... membrane" term was selected. |
