Annotation description: | Figure 1, 2: PDLIM5 (aka. ENH, Enigma Homolog) and SPAR (Spine-Associated RapGAP, gene SIPA1L1) co-immunoprecipitated and interacted in yeast two-hybrid. Figure 4: Cultured hippocampal neurons at 19DIV were immunostained for endogenous PDLIM5, PSD95 (DLG4), synaptophysin (SYP) and GAD65 (GAD2). PDLIM5 partially co-localized with both pre- and post-synaptic marker proteins SYP and DLG4 but not inhibitory synapse marker GAD65. Figure 8: postsynaptic localization of PDLIM5 is increased upon PKC activation in cultured hippocampal neurons at 27DIV. |
