Annotation description:Figure 1, 2: Lysosomes marked by LAMP1 and LysoTracker were both identified in postsynaptic spines of dissociated hippocampal cultures. Furthermore, this was confirmed with APEX2 (Fig. 3).

"We found lysosomes not only in the cell body and dendrites (Fig. 1 E) but also in dendritic spines (Fig. 1, F and G). Upon quantification, ~7% of spines have a lysosome in the head of the spine (Fig. 1 H)."
