Annotation description: | Figure 1, 2, table 1: RAB11 was identified in biochemical enrichment of neuronal endosomes. Figure 5, 6: immunofluerescence imaging showed RAB11 co-localized with presynaptic marker proteins, constitutively active Rab11 (Rab11Q70L) was recruited to nerve terminals and facilitates activity-dependent bulk endocytosis. Authors concluded that "Rab11Q70L preferentially localizes to nerve terminals, as does endogenous Rab11 (SI Appendix, Fig. S13)." |
