Annotation description: | Experiments use bioassays of endocytosis following stimulated exocytosis in calyx of held and hippocampal synapses in face of a Calmodulin 2 selective knockdown. The summed data supports a role for CaM2 in the efficient recycling of synaptic vesicles and in promoting access to the readily releasable pool. There are clear effects in face of Calmodulin 2 knockout despite evidencing residual levels of calmodulin accounted for by Calmodulin 1 and 3 expression (See Figure 6B and 7A and 7B). |
