Annotation description: | Figure 2. Immunostaining and confocal imaging of hippocampal rat neurons show Neuritin (NRN1/CPG2) is localized to the postsynapse of glutamatergic neurons. Figure 3. High-magnification images show that within the dendritic spines, Neuritin is localized just beside the PSD. Similar observations were made in subsequent immunoEM experiments (Fig. 4c-e). Figure 4. cultured hippocampal rat neurons infected with a lentivirus expressing a clathrin light chain A1-GFP fusion protein (green) and stained for CPG2 (red) and PSD-95 (blue) showed co-localization of Neuritin (CPG2) and Clathrin light chain A1 (CLTA) in the postsynapse. Similar observations were made in subsequent immunoEM experiments (Fig. 3b-c). |
