Annotation description: | Figure 2A, S2. Immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy with antibodies to the GABAAR g2 subunit and antibodies specific to KIF5B show that a proportion of KIF5B staining colocalized with GABAAR clusters in the neuronal somata and dendrites of cultured hippocampal and cortical neurons. Figure 2L,O, 3A-D. Pulldown assays with antibodies, GST fusion proteins, and mutated domains as controls, reveal HAP1 interacts with KIF5B. Further, mutated KIF5B effects GABAARs insertion into the surface membrane through the KIF5-HAP1 complex (Fig 3H, 4F). This supports the KIF5B-GABAAR colocalization observed earlier. |
