Annotation description:Figure 1c. In situ hybridization in mouse brain shows GluK3 mRNA was moderately expressed in the cerebral cortex, hippocampus and cerebellum. GluK3 mRNA was detected in granule cells in the dentate gyrus, interneurons in the hippocampal Ammon's horn, and interneurons in the cerebellum (Fig. 1h,m and r).

Figure 4, 5. GluK3 was detected by western blot in PSD biochemical fractions from mouse hippocampus and cerebellum. Quantitative analysis of these observations show strong enrichment in PSD as compared to the P2 fraction (fig. 6).
