Confocal imaging of cultured rat hippocampal SDC2-overexpressing neurons at DIV2 shows localization of CASK, LIN7B and surface-NR1 (GRIN1) at the tip of dendritic spines. Figure 7. Mutating the C2 motif of SDC2 leads to disruption of the SDC2-CASK-LIN7B-NMDAR complex, and consequently the localization of CASK, LIN7B and NR2B at the postsynaptic density was significantly reduced.
