Annotation description: | Figure 9 shows the ultrastructural localization of Delphilin (A-C, arrowheads) at Purkinje cell synapses. Fig. 9A): Delphilin labelling at parallel fibre synapses. Purkinje cell spines forming synaptic contact with parallel fibre terminals (PF). The quantitative analysis revealed a normal distribution of gold particles from presynapse to postsynapse, with a peak at 8-16 nm postsynaptic from the midline of the synaptic cleft (Fig. 9E). The postsynaptic membrane outside the PSD was associated with very low immunogold labelling (Fig. 9F). 18/01/2021 Dnyanada: The paper provides no information on the validation/specificity of the anti-Delphilin antibody used in the study. |
