Annotation description: | dSTORM imaging of granule cell synapses with the dendritic spines of Purkinje cells show co-localization of mGlur4 microdomains with Munc18-1 (Fig 5) and Bassoon (Fig 4). antibody KO verified: monoclonal mouse antibody against Munc18-1 (catalog no. 116011) were from Synaptic Systems (Göttingen, Germany). 28/01/2021 Dnyanada: The paper shows that mGlur4 closely associates with active zone marker Bassoon. It also shows that Munc18-1 is localised with mGlur4. SynGO ID:82 (PMID:17110441) shows that Munc18-1 plays an essential role in synaptic vesicle priming. Based on all these, the term "presynaptic active zone cytoplasmic component". |
