Fig. S6 C and D show that overexpressed ADAM22-GFP colocalize with endogenpus PSD-95 at synapses. ADAM22-GFP mutant unables to bind PSD-95 do not localize to synapses.

Fig. S3: The figures above do not exclude a interaction of PSD-95 (postsynaptic marker) with a presynaptic ADAM22. In Fig.1 the interaction may be indirect and in Fig.S6 the resolution of the used technology is insufficient to distinguis pre- from post-synaptic localization. Fig. S3 demonstrates that PSD-95 interacts with ADAM22 directly, which supports a postsynaptic localization of ADAM22.
- The "integral component of ..." is derived from the TM domains in ADAM22.
