Annotation description: | Fig 3 shows that in confocal images of rat cultured neurons antibody-stained ephrinB2 colocalizes with antibody-stained vGlut1. 22/6/2017 Pim - Authors go great length showing presynaptic localization (Fig.3) and show that presynapse-selective KD of the protein interferes with synapse formation. - TM localization is not shown in this paper. However, the protein has TM domains ans in known to localize to the plasma membrane (see Additional literature), and mediates responses to its postsynaptic ligand (EphB2) expressed on HEK cells (this paper). Based on these observation I approve to IC the term not literally shown in the paper. |
