Annotation description: | EphrinB2 activation by EphB4 inhibits AMPA-induced AMPA receptor internalization. Fig 1. AMPA receptor surface expression and internalization were monitored by an antibody feeding assay and fluorescence microscopy, and a biotinylation assay with western blotting. Activation of ephrinB2 by feeding cultured hippocampal neurons pre-clustered EphB4-Fc enhanced AMPA-induced surface expression of AMPA receptors and thereby inhibited AMPA receptor internalization. Fig 2. Hippocampal neurons from ephrinB2 knockout mice showed enhanced AMPA receptor internalization as monitored by an antibody feeding assay, and smaller miniature EPSCs Fig 8. WT ehprinB2-CFP, but not phospho-mutant ephrinB2-CFP, normalized AMPA receptor surface expression in cultured hippocampal neurons as monitored by an antibody feeding assay. |
