Annotation description: | Fig.3: "Electron microscopy localization of dicer and eIF2c in dendritic spines in cortex and hippocampal area CA1" - "Electron microscopy immunocytochemistry using peroxidase-based detection confirmed that dicer-like immunoreactivity was present within dendritic spines and appeared to be particularly associated with PSDs (Figs3a and c). eIF2c was also prominent in spines (Fig. 3b)." Fig.6: "Expression of dicer and eIF2c in brain subcellular fractions" - ":A dicer-immunoreactive band was also enriched in PSDs that was approximately twice the size of native dicer, but which was not affected by boiling and reduction of the sample (Fig. 6); it is not clear whether this represents dimeric dicer or a sodium dodecyl sulfate-resistant complex of dicer with another protein(s). " 28/3/2018 Pim - Antibody for Argonaut is not gene specific: "a peptide corresponding to the C-terminal 16 amino acids of eIF2c1 was used as antigen in rabbits (the C-terminal 16 amino acids are identical in eIF2c2; there is one mismatch in eIF2c3 and four mismatches in eIF2c4)." Annotation for this protein was not made. |
