Annotation description: | Fig.4: "Acetylation regulates AMPAR trafficking, turnover and accumulation in neuron" - " To test whether acetylation affects AMPAR trafficking, we performed AMPAR internalization and insertion assays in cultured hippocampal neurons. We found that SIRT2 inhibition by B2 (20 μM, 24hrs) resulted in a suppression of agonist-induced (AMPA, 100 μM) AMPAR internalization (Beattie et al., 2000) (Figure 4A, n ≥ 15 cells/group, p < 0.05) without affecting glycine (200 μM)-induced receptor insertion (Lu et al., 2001) (Figure 4B, n ≥ 15 cells/group, p > 0.05)."
