Annotation description: | Wong et.al. use STED microscopy to demonstrate that Liprin a3 (gene product of PPFIA3) is localized at the presynaptic active zone. Liprin a3 closely colocalized with the active zone marker Bassoon. (figure 1C,D) Specificity of the antibody for Liprin a3 is demonstrated in Figure 5A, where no signal was detected in liprin a3 knockout cultures. |
