- The postsynaptic element of the annotation comes from the exclusive localization of SYNPO at the postsynaptic spine apparatus. Interfering with SYNPO expression is therefore inferred to regulate synaptic transmission via a postsynaptic mechanism (also spine apparatus is missing here).
