| Annotation description: | Slitrks interact with PTPRS. Knock-down of PTPRS reduces excitatory synapse formation. 19/2/2018 Pim - SLITRK1 is a known postsynaptic protein (see ticket #?????). It is shown to mediate cell-cell adhesion with PTPRS and PTPRD in a cell-adhesion assay (Fig.4A+B). SLITRK1 expressed in HEKcells is able to induce clustering of Glutamatergic and GABA ergic presynaptic (Synapsin1, VGLUT1, GAD67) but not postsynaptic (PSD-95) markers (Fig.4C+D). |
