Annotation description: | LRFN3 form homophilic trans-cellular associations in coculture assays. LRFN3 was localized largely to the cell membrane of neuronal processes (Fig. 7). At synapses, these included both the synaptic and extrasynaptic membranes on both presynaptic and postsynaptic sides, as well as the cell membrane of other structures such as neuron somas (Fig. 7D) and myelinated axons (Fig. 7H). In many cases, plasma membrane-associated gold could be found on both sides of adjacent membrane appositions (Fig. 7, A-D, F, and G). |
