Annotation description: | Results Section: "LTP Is Enhanced in Cad11-Deficient Hippocampus" -Literal: "Unexpectedly, however, the LTP induced by a train of tetanic stimulation (100 Hz, 1 s) was significantly larger (P 5 0.0054) in the mutant mice (162.1 6 5.6% of control, n 5 8) than in the wild-type mice (134.6 6 6.1% of control, n 5 7)" 15/01/2018 Pim - Preferably annotation to the primary function of CDH11 would be made (cell adhesion). Since this paper does not demonstrate that this role is mediating the effect of CDH11 in regulating LTP I approve of the use of the term 'modulation of chemical synaptic transmission (GO:0050804)' to describe the effect on LTP. |
