Annotation description:Experiments in primary hippocampal cultures show that immunolabeling of endogenous Prr7 is enhanced in the nucleus after glutamate treatment while its synaptic localization is decreased. FRAP experiments confirmed the redistribution of the protein to the nucleus after glutamate application by using overexpression of Prr7-GFP. Use of photoconvertible Prr7-mEos3 further confirmed this.
