| Annotation description: | Using immuno-EM on rat hippoacampal tissue this paper demonstrates that the transmembrane receptor mGluR5 is localized at the periphery of the PSD. 9/3/2017 Pim: -Fig 6 show quantitative support for postsynaptic membrane localizition just **outside** of the PSD membrane (so not **inside** the PSD membrane), this choice is bit arbitatry I guess. But I chosse to follow the data in figure 6. -Since Fig.6. is on CA1 area of hippocampus I added this info to the synapse type info. -"integral component" rerived from TM domains of GRM5. |
