Annotation description: | Fig.1: "Postsynaptic Syntaxin-3 Is Required for Surface AMPAR Delivery during LTP" The KD of STX3 (but not of STX1 or STX4) prevents the LTP related increase of AMPARs in the postsynaptic membrane (controlled by rescue with OE of STX3). There results are combined (by the authors; author intent) with the prior knowledge of the function of STX3 as a plasma membrane SNARE. Fig.3: "Binding of Complexin to Stx-3 Is Required for LTP" A mutant protein of Stx-3 that is unable to bind complexin (Stx-3/4) and one that is unable to bind Munc-18 prevents LTP in hippocampal slices. |
