| Annotation description: | The data in this paper describe how activation of group I mGluRs (mGluR1 and 5) with DHPG mediates an increase in Ca2+ (measured with Fluo-3) accompanied with an inward current (measure with whole-cell pact clamp) in hippocampal CA1 neurons. These effects were blocked by adding a specific mGluR1 antagonist, but not with a specific mGluR5 antagonist. |
