Annotation description: | the effects of the NEEP21 and GRIP1 interaction are tested via the ND overexpression of the interaction domains of the respective proteins (NEEP21 aa129164, GRIP1 aa8101112). NEEP21 aa129164 overexpression causes a reduction of Glur2 (but not Glur1) surface delivery after NDMA-induced AMPAR internalization (Fig.4). A similar observation was made with OE of ND GRIP1 aa8101112. OE of NEEP21 aa129164 does not lead to a general perturbatio of the endoctic pathways as assesed by recycling of transferrin (Fig.4G). The infusion of NEEP21 aa129164 is shown to change EPSC properties (changed current/voltage relationships) under basal conditions. The OE of NEEP21 aa129164 results in endosomal accumulation of AMPARs (Fig.7). note; referenced PMID:16037816 shows the M&M for (confocal) microscopy |
