Annotation description: | Fig.6-8 The use of HAV peptides were shown by the authors to disrupt the homophilic interactions between specific cadherin subtypes. Infusion of N-cad HAV peptides does not alter basal synaptic signal transduction, but interferes with LTP induction (not maintenance) with different protocols. N-cad HAV peptides do not interfere with PPI, NMDAR EPSPs or postsynaptic depolarization mechanisms. |
