Annotation description: | Fig.1 " Autoradiograph of a portion of an endplate labeled with 3H-alpha-bungarotoxin. Typically, the grains are distributed over the postjunctional folds" In muscle, alpha-bungarotoxin is a marker of the muscle type nAChR that consists of the α1β1εδ subunits in adult tissue and of the α1β1γδ subunits during fetal development (see attached review in the Additional literature section). 3H-alpha-bungarotoxin is regarded as a marker of all muscle type nAChR subunits. This paper studies adult mice and can be used to annotate all adult nAChR subunits. |
