Annotation description:Fig.7+8: Authors look at the effect of EtOH exposure on expression and presynaptic localization of the nACHR alpha4 subunit in dopaminergic nerve terminals in the nucleus accumbens. Localization is assessed with a alpha4-GFP knock-in mouse model. Authors quantified presynaptic localization by measuring colocalization of GFP-alpha4 with the presynaptic marker synaptophysin withing HT-positive terminals.
