| Annotation description: | ABHD6 localizes to postsynaptic spines of glutamatergic neurons in adult mouse prefrontal cortex (Figure 5G-H). Localization of ABHD6 is juxtaposed (not overlapping) with presynaptic CB1-receptors which bind 2-AG, the lipid metabolized by ABHD6. Supplementary Figure 9 shows ABHD6 is mainly expressed glutamatergic neurons and to a lesser extent GABAergic interneurons and some astrocytes.
