Fig.6: The IL1RAPL1/PTPδ complex recruits RhoGAP2 to synapses. - PTPδ is a presynaptic protein, IL1RAPL1 is a postsynaptic protein, the complex formation can be seen as a handshaking between synaptic compartment and is considered as a 'signal'. The term 'trans-synaptic signaling by trans-synaptic complex (GO:0099545)' was applied. - The role of PTPδ is not examined to the same extent as that of IL1RAPL1 int his paper. The application of the term 'trans-synaptic signaling by trans-synaptic complex (GO:0099545)' comes from the specificity of PTPδ as a presynaptic partner of IL1RAPL1 as shown in Fig.3. |
