Annotation description:Fig. 2J, GluA1 is reduced in the PSD lysates of TNiK-/- mice.

Literal:
"In PSD extracts from hippocampal slices...of TNiK-/- mice, a decrease in AMPAR GluA1 levels (35%, p <0.05; Fig. 2J) was observed."

Fig 3, Alteration in the glutamategic hippocampal CA1 region synaptic physiology in TNIK KO mice.

Literal:
"Since these data show biochemical interactions between TNiK and glutamate receptors, we examined excitatory and inhibitory synaptic transmission and synaptic plasticity in the hippocampus of TNiK-/- mice. NMDAR-and AMPAR mediated synaptic currents, long-term plasticity (LTP and LTD), and sIPSCs and mIPSCs were normal in the hippocampal CA1 region of TNiK-/-] mice (Fig. 3A-F). We noted, however, that evoked fEPSPs were slightly but significantly enhanced at stronger stimulation intensities compared with wt littermates (Fig. 3B; ...). We also observed a significant increase in PPF ... and a significant decrease in the frequency of AMPAR-mediated mEPSCs in TNiK-/- cells... indicating the probability of neurotransmitter release from presynaptic terminals of excitatory synapses may be reduced in TNiK-/- mice (Fig. 3G).
