Annotation description:The localization of a Venus-tagged latrophilin-2 in knock-in mice in Fig. 1D-G shows a dendritic expression in CA1 with a dendrite domain-specific expression in the stratum lacunosum moleculare, where CA1 neurons receive inputs from entorhinal cortex.
Fig. 3D,E shows that latrophilin-2 localizes to dendritic spines in this stratum.

- Based on the known transmembrane topology of the protein, the "integral component of ... membrane" term was chosen.
- The resolution of the localization data in Fig.3 is insufficient to claim term 'integral component of postsynaptic membrane (GO:0099055)'. This is concluded from 1) its known role as a TM protein of the plasma membrane (Lphns are cell-adhesion molecules) and 2) the effect of postsynapse specific KD of the protein. Together this makes the selected term very plausible.
