Annotation description: | DGKθ KD and KO negatively affects SV endocytosis (measured with synaptophysin-pHluorin) in cultured rat neurons (Fig.2) and in mouse neurons (Fig.4). The DGK activity in brain of DGKθ KO mice is reduced (Fig.3) and this activity is essential to rescue the SV recycling phenotype (Fig.4). Note: DGKθ is a lipid metabolazing enzyme that may change the properties of the plasma membrane.Since not addressed specifically in this paper, I refrain from linking this molecular function of DGKtheta to SV recycling. |
