Annotation description: | Fig 3 GKAP is closely associated with the dense material at the core of the PSD complex Literal: "Pre-embedding immunogold electron microscopy was conducted on hippocampal cultures, using antibodies for GKAP and Shank. GKAP antibody was against a C-terminal peptide containing the binding site for Shank, while pan Shank antibody was raised against a peptide that includes the sequence for its PDZ domain, the binding site for GKAP. PSDs of asymmetric synapses showed prominent labeling for both GKAP and Shank (Fig. 3). |
