- CBLN1_MOUSE, Precerebellin, Cerebellin-1 is a known secreted protein that has no TM domains or other known lipid-interacting domains. The localization at the synaptic junction is therefore reasonably assumed to be in the postsynaptic cleft.

Additional literature:Table S1 contains 452 proteins identified in PSD (detergent-resistant synaptic junctional proteins) preparations of rat and mouse brains. Precerebellin was found as "XP_194433 Similar to precerebellin-1". @ PMID:15169875

This paper shows that Cerebellin-1 supports synapse formation at parallel fibre synapses in the cerebellum and hippocampal synapses in culture. @ PMID:21410790
