Annotation description: | In the presence of an agonist of 5-HT7, LP44, there were cells that increased or decreased EPSC amplitude from baseline, as well as cells that did not show an effect by LP44. Among these, the predominant effect of LP44 was to reduce EPSC amplitude during tractus solitarius (TS) stimulation (Fig 2A). The paired pulse ratio increased with increasing concentrations of LP 44. This indicates a presynaptic mechanism of modulation of transmission (Fig 2D). |
