Annotation description: | CPEB4 is detected in the PSD fraction from IP from hippocampal neurons 21 DIV. Adittionally, CPEB4 immunofluorescence seems to be enriched in areas juxtaposed to synaptophysin-positive pre-synapses (primary rat hippocampal neurons as decribed in Huang et al., 2002). 24/9/2017 Pim - Literal: "Finally, both CPEB3 and CPEB4, when fused to GFP, were detected in dendrites, often as puncta (Figure 5C)" - Literal: "Taken together, these data show that CPEB3 and CPEB4 are expressed in only partially overlapping regions of the brain; within hippocampal neurons, where both are expressed, they appear to be synaptic." - The mRNA translation data is too poorly shown in this paper lacking clear synaptic relevance although looking at AMPAR translation. |
