Annotation description: | Immuno EM of GabaBR1 subunit in PAG neuropil. 11/9/2017 Pim - Literal: "On electron microscopy, GABA(B)R(1a/b) IR was mainly on dendrites (54.92% of labeled elements) and axon terminals (21.90%) making synapses with labeled and unlabeled postsynaptic elements" - Literal: "GABABR1a/b IR was mainly on dendritic shafts (Table 1). Often, the reaction product completely filled the dendrites, whereas in other cases it was only on microtubules, on both mitochondrial and cytoplasmic membranes (Fig. 6B-D,F). Staining was mainly observed on nonsynaptic regions of labeled dendrites and frequently also in regions adjacent to the postsynaptic density (Fig. 6B-D)" |
