Annotation description:In this papers, authors used the synapsin I, II and III triple KO mouse and by introducing each synapsin isoform tried to investigate their function. They found that only synapsin II is able to rescue the synaptic depression phenotype of triple KO cultures (Fig.2 and Fig.3). Moreover, using fluorescent microscopy they found that synapsin II increases the density of synaptic vesicles (Fig.4) and the size of the synaptic vesicles reverse pool (Fig.6). Therefore, it can be concluded that synapsin II regulated the clustering of synaptic vesicles.
